The Friends of the Sparta Free Library
Vision & Mission
The mission of the Friends of the Sparta Free Library (FOSFL) is to bring people together to celebrate, support, and grow the many benefits of the library. We inspire community connections and lifelong learning, encourage everyone to discover and enjoy all the library has to offer, provide volunteer support for library programs and activities, and help host events and fundraisers to meet special library needs.
Friends of the Sparta Free Library General Meetings
The FOSFL General Meetings are held quarterly in the Community Room at the Sparta Free Library. Friends are welcome to attend to provide input or listen. 2026 meetings will be held on January 26, April 27, July 27, and October 26.
Friends of the Sparta Free Library Board
The FOSFL Board meets the 4th Monday of every month to ensure the mission and goals of the organization are at the forefront of its events, activities, and programs.
